The Old Smiddy Cottage is perfect for families, friends & golfing/fishing/shooting parties.

 

We invite you to come and self-cater in our family home and experience a real Scottish holiday in a homely and relaxing atmosphere.

 

There are 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 double/twin and a twin; a cosy room with log burner, a country kitchen with AGA and a lounge. 

The original blacksmith's shop is now our large comfortable antique smiddy lounge with old beams where you can relax in front of the open inglenook log fire. Listen to the fire crackle and smell the wood smoke, or dine by candlelight at the antique oak table.

In the corner by the fire are the old bellows and smithy tools. The horse shoes and horse brasses are a reminder of days gone by. There is a hi-fi and we have left our books and games for your entertainment.

 

Prices

£495 week in low season plus fuel*

£595 week in high season and Bank Holidays plus fuel*

+£200 returnable deposit less fuel and a cleaning charge if necessary.

( The weekly charge includes £30 fuel for the AGA)

* You pay what you consume policy. Estimate £25-£75pw depending on the season.
